Slow Food Upstate is proud to support the Berea Branch Library’s Seed Library – home to more than 60 varieties of heirloom food, flower, and native plant seeds ready for planting. 

We provide the Seed Library with Ark of Taste varieties, such as Cocke’s Prolific Corn, White Velvet Okra, and Sea Island Red Peas. We have also led workshops on the stories behind these seeds and the value of growing heirloom varieties.
